Manchester Metropolitan University seeks an experienced Emergency Planning, Resilience and Risk Manager to lead EFCD's emergency planning, resilience and risk management across buildings, facilities, security operations and critical supply chains. You will provide expert advice, drive preparedness and ensure governance-aligned risk escalation.

The role requires strong analytical skills, stakeholder engagement and experience delivering training and exercises in a complex organisation.

Formación

• Significant experience in developing, implementing and reviewing emergency management, business continuity and risk management arrangements.
• Experience leading emergency planning and/or business continuity activity within a large and complex organisation.
• Knowledge of professional, legal and regulatory frameworks relating to emergency preparedness, resilience and business continuity.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development, implementation and continuous improvement of EFCD's emergency planning, operational resilience, business continuity and risk management arrangements.
• Provide expert advice and support organisational preparedness; ensure risks are identified, managed and escalated through governance.
• Coordinate EFCD's implementation of Martyn's Law and oversee incident management, resilience planning and emergency response.
