Qualifications

• Basic Life Support certification due within 3 months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Direct observation of patient at arm's length under supervision.
• Participate in patient rounding as directed by the Registered Nurse.
• Ensure environmental safety for patient.
• Answer call lights and escalate care to the RN.
• Restock department supplies and transport patients as needed.
• Clean patient equipment following protocols.
• Complete patient care documentation.
• Communicate changes in patient behavior to the RN.
• Support unit quality improvement activities.
• Respect cultural beliefs and use interpreter services when needed.
