Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Specialist Clinical Pharmacist for the Emergency Department. The role focuses on delivering expert patient-facing clinical pharmacy services within a busy major trauma centre and coordinating with MDTs to optimise medicines management at the hospital front door.

Formación

• Registered with GPhC.
• Post-graduate diploma/MSc in clinical pharmacy or working towards this.
• B.Pharm/BSc (Pharmacy) or MPharm.
• Active involvement in a relevant national network / specialist pharmacist group.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop the pharmacy service to the Emergency Department.
• Provide clinical input (specialist level) to the ED.
• Collaborate with medical teams in prescribing for ED patients.
• Offer highly complex advice on prescribing and therapeutics, aligned with guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of prescribing/therapeutics for Medicine care group.
• Be a key component of the multidisciplinary team in ED.
