Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking two receptionists for the busy Emergency Department in Chesterfield. The role supports a 24-hour, seven-days-a-week service with fixed shifts on a two-week rota.

You will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, handling calls, administration and data entry. The position offers NHS AfC Band 2 progression with a starting salary of £25,272 per annum pro rata, paid yearly, and requires GCSEs in Maths and English, with

• Educated to GCSE standard (Maths & English).
• Clerical experience in a busy environment.
• Experience in healthcare settings and customer care.

Responsabilidades

• Provide professional front-of-house reception for the Emergency Department.
• Handle in-person and telephone enquiries with customers and relatives.
• Provide efficient administrative support to the department.
• Maintain confidentiality of information.
• Ensure the smooth running of the care unit in a changing environment.
• Accurately document patient information and input data to systems.
• Arrange outpatient appointments and recall as directed.
• File reports electronically and print GP letters as required.
• Coordinate with nursing staff and external agencies as needed.
• Support shifts and attend team meetings and training.
