Job summary

HCRG Care Group seeks an Emergency Clinical Practitioner for Chippenham MIU. You’ll autonomously assess, document, prescribe and discharge patients, ensuring safe staffing when the clinical lead is away. You’ll bring APiCA and Non-Medical prescribing credentials and work across primary/secondary care interfaces.

The role sits within a band 7 NHS framework with opportunities for professional development and wellbeing support. Chippenham MIU and occasional work across BSW are expected.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification and current professional registration.
• Evidence of continued professional development.
• APICA or equivalent minor injuries/emergency experience.
• Independent Non-Medical Prescribing qualification.

Responsibilities

• Autonomously assess, treat and discharge MIU patients as required.
• Support safe staffing and unit management in absence of lead.
• Coordinate specialist interventions for urgent care needs.
• Collaborate across primary and secondary care interfaces.
