Job summary

HCRG Care Group is seeking an Emergency Clinical Practitioner (Band 7) for the Trowbridge Minor Injury Unit. The role delivers autonomous assessment, treatment and discharge decisions within a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with hospitals and community services across the BSW region.

You will work 34.5 hours per week at Trowbridge Integrated Care Centre, with a focus on advanced triage, prescribing where permitted and safe staffing in the absence of leadership.

Qualifications

• Current professional registration
• Evidence of continued professional development
• Relevant minor injuries or emergency department experience and APiCA qualification
• Independent Non-Medical prescribing

Responsibilities

• Autonomous assessment, examination, documentation, prescription and discharge of MIU patients.
• Safe staffing and unit management in the absence of the clinical lead.
• Advanced triage/assessment skills within minor injury and illness care.
• Coordinate specialist interventions across primary and secondary care interfaces in the BSW region.
