Job summary

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust seeks a proactive Business Manager for Urgent and Emergency Medicine at Charing Cross site. You will lead operational delivery, work with senior teams, drive service improvement and ensure patient experience is prioritised.

You will manage budgets, performance reporting and workforce development, delivering changes across Emergency Department and Same Day Emergency Care services. A postgraduate management qualification and Prince2 are preferred.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate management qualification or equivalent experience.
• Completion of project management course (e.g. PRINCE2).

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operational management and ensure delivery against performance standards.
• Monitor activity and performance, identifying trends and implementing corrective actions.
• Produce and present high-quality performance, activity and financial information for decision-making.
• Support service planning, transformation and improvement, including business cases and redesign delivery.
• Manage delegated budgets and support cost reductions and productivity programmes.
• Ensure robust governance, handling complaints, incidents and risks.
