Anglian Water Group is seeking an experienced Emergency & Risk Mitigation Planner in Lincoln. The role covers developing emergency plans, advising incident teams, and coordinating risk mitigation across the Anglian region.

The position is a 12-month secondment, full-time (37 hours) with hybrid working between office and home. Salary circa £36,000, with eligibility for flexible hours to support incident responses.

Join our team, you’ll love it!**We have an exciting opportunity to join the Emergency & Risk Mitigation Planning team as an Emergency & Risk Mitigation Planner, reporting to the Emergency & Risk Mitigation Manager!This vital, busy & challenging role is ideal for someone who has emergency planning experience, thrives on having a large variety in their work, working in a planned way, but very quickly transitioning into a reactive response if we have an operational incident. **About the role**Reporting to the Emergency and Risk Mitigation Manager within Customer and Operational Services, the Emergency & Risk Mitigation Planner will work alongside three other Emergency & Risk Mitigation Planners. The team are responsible for developing and maintaining processes and plans to prepare for and respond to operational incidents, to meet business objectives, national risks, operational risks and legal obligations under the Security and Emergency Measures Direction (SEMD) and the Civil Contingencies Act, Reservoir Act, and the ISO standards Emergency Planning is a key role within our incident response structure, providing specific Emergency planning advise to the incident team, with their expertise and understanding of of our processes, plans and incident response playbooks.
