What You'll Do

This role manages the EMEA Trade & Grassroots marketing strategy, leading a team of specialists to support sales and community engagement in the UK and Nordics. Collaborate with regional and global teams to align marketing objectives and execute plans effectively.

  • Lead a high-performing team to meet marketing goals.
  • Develop strategic plans for brand presence in retail and community settings.
  • Coordinate account and marketing activity plans with sales teams.
  • Create tiered customer programs, including Premium Partner initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.
  • Provide input to regional and global marketing leadership.
  • Manage a graphic design and asset support hub.
  • Support and coach team members on objectives and deliverables.

Trade Marketing

  • Act as marketing contact for key retail partners and develop joint business plans.
  • Manage marketing campaigns from briefing to reporting.
  • Support seasonal launches, staff training, and activations.
  • Create marketing toolkits for campaigns.
  • Identify brand opportunities with sales teams.
  • Support sales events and develop in-store and digital assets.
  • Design retail and event activation projects.
  • Leverage athlete relationships for marketing initiatives.

Grassroots Marketing

  • Build partnerships with clubs, federations, leagues, and academies to maximize value.
  • Design affiliate programs and incentives to promote trial and conversion.
  • Manage on-court POS and pop-up experiences.
  • Plan and execute retail and event activations.
  • Utilize athlete and influencer relationships to enhance marketing efforts.

Grassroots Services

  • Create a platform to deliver high-level grassroots services with innovative technology.
  • Coordinate with demand planning for product delivery and forecasting.

Budget Planning & Management

  • Manage budgets aligned with Wilson's fiscal cycles.
  • Oversee financial operations including payments and accruals.

What We're Looking For

  • 5-7 years of marketing experience in consumer goods or sporting goods companies.
  • Experience with customer marketing execution online and in-store.
  • Trade marketing and community engagement experience preferred.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Experience with agencies and digital media budgets.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • People-oriented with problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (up to 50 days/year).
