Job summary

ClickHouse is seeking a Security Specialist to own security discussions across EMEA opportunities, partnering with Solutions Architects and Account Executives. You will translate architecture into controls frameworks and shape secure deployment patterns for Cloud and BYOC. The role requires deep data security expertise and credibility with security buyers.

You will drive threat modelling, audits, and regulatory alignment, building a reusable security library and playbooks for the region.

Qualifications

• Significant customer-facing technical experience at a data platform or similar.
• Deep security expertise across cloud, data security, and architectures.
• Familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS and EU data residency.

Responsibilities

• Act as security overlay on EMEA opportunities with account teams.
• Lead security conversations with CISOs and security architects.
• Design and validate secure ClickHouse Cloud and BYOC deployments.
• Run threat modelling and architecture reviews with customer security teams.
• Be the authority on compliance posture (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.).
• Develop reusable security responses and playbooks for EMEA.
