Job summary

SMBC Group, London, seeks a senior leader to design, engineer, deliver and own EMEA Risk Management Technology capabilities, with an initial focus on Credit Risk, Operational Risk and other non-financial risk types. The role sits within the EMEA risk technology domain and reports into the Cross-Product Platforms IT function.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience (15+ years) leading technology and engineering delivery in banking/financial services.
• Strong understanding of corporate and investment banking products, processes and risk disciplines.
• Hands-on track record designing and implementing modern technology, data and integration solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Risk Technology domain with accountability for Credit Risk, Operational Risk and other Non-Financial Risk tech.
• Set priorities and roadmaps for risk technology estate balancing regulatory, resilience and delivery.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership and governance across Architecture, Delivery and Security.
