Macquarie Bank Limited in London seeks a regulatory risk professional to join the EMEA team, shaping how regulatory risk is understood and managed across the region. You will advise on SMCR and entity licensing, regulatory reporting, and governance, working with colleagues in compliance and business teams to deliver high-quality risk-based outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience working in regulatory risk, compliance or related function, with exposure to Senior Managers and Certification regime.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, curiosity and proactive approach to improvement.
• Ability to build relationships, communicate clearly and influence stakeholders across levels.
• Excellent organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering risk-based outcomes.
• Desire to drive efficiencies and innovation in core tasks.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as SMCR, MiFID II, AIFMD, GDPR or MAR is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to delivery of key regulatory risk activities across the region in collaboration with business-aligned compliance teams and stakeholders.
• Support senior managers and certification regimes, entity licensing and policy management.
• Provide high-quality, risk-based outcomes that strengthen compliance and support the business in meeting regulatory obligations.
