Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking a Regulatory Legal Counsel, EMEA, to advise on platform, AI and digital regulation across Europe, the UK, the Middle East and Africa. You will translate complex obligations into practical guidance and work closely with Safety, Product, Engineering and Compliance teams to implement compliant solutions.

The role requires strong communication, a deep understanding of the EU AI Act and DSA, and the ability to move quickly from legal analysis to operational impact while engaging

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer of good standing ideally UK and/or EU.
• 5+ years of legal experience in technology or digital regulation.
• Strong working knowledge of the DSA and/or UK OSA; some combination thereof.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to explain complex ideas clearly.
• Ability to work with technical and non-legal teams and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Advise on implementation and compliance with EU, UK and other EMEA digital regulations (EU AI Act, DSA, OSA, AVMSD).
• Engage regulators and handle information requests, risk assessments, audits and enforcement proceedings.
• Collaborate with Safety, Product and Engineering to assess features against regulatory requirements.
• Track new legislation and explain implications for products in practical terms.
• Build scalable regulatory processes, templates and playbooks for product review and compliance.
• Coordinate with Compliance, Privacy, Litigation and Policy to align positions.
• Manage outside counsel effectively and cost-consciously.
• Support the legal department and adopt AI tools to improve productivity.
