SpaceXSI is seeking a Regulatory Legal Counsel, EMEA, to advise on platform, AI and digital regulation across Europe, the UK, the Middle East and Africa. You will translate complex obligations into practical guidance and work with Safety, Product, Engineering, Policy and Compliance teams.

This role requires hands-on legal work, a strong regulatory background, and the ability to engage with regulators while developing scalable compliance processes.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with good standing.
• 5+ years in technology, platform or digital regulation.
• Strong knowledge of DSA and/or UK OSA; some combination thereof.
• Understanding of legislative processes in tech.
• Excellent communication and ability to explain complex ideas clearly.
• Ability to work with technical and non-legal teams and manage priorities.
• Commitment to in-office work five days a week.

Responsabilités

• Advise on EU, UK and other EMEA digital regulations with focus on EU AI Act, DSA, UK OSA, AVMSD and national implementations.
• Support regulatory engagements with European Commission, EU AI Office, Ofcom and other regulators including information requests, risk assessments, audits and enforcement proceedings.
• Collaborate with Safety, Product and Engineering to assess features against regulatory requirements and conduct risk assessments including content and age-related concerns.
• Track and analyze new legislation and enforcement trends across EMEA and translate into practical guidance.
• Help build scalable processes, templates and playbooks for regulatory compliance and product reviews.
• Coordinate with Compliance, Product Counsel, Privacy, Litigation and Policy to maintain consistent positions across jurisdictions.
• Manage outside counsel effectively and cost-consciously.
• Provide ongoing support across the legal department as needed.
• Adopt daily use of AI products to accelerate learning and productivity.
