EMEA Pricing & Portfolio Architecture Lead

Job summary

AkzoNobel in the United Kingdom seeks a senior pricing leader to steer the EMEA pricing framework across markets and guide pricing strategy for the portfolio. You will translate insights into actionable recommendations, own price-pack architecture, and partner with Brand, Category and Product Management to support launches.

The role requires strong Excel and Power BI skills, 7+ years in pricing or commercial strategy, and proven leadership across international teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in business administration, economics, marketing or a comparable field.
• 7+ years of pricing, revenue growth management or commercial strategy experience, preferably in FMCG/consumer goods.
• Strong hands-on experience with B2C pricing and portfolio strategy, including pricing analysis, simulations and analytics.
• Proven track record of developing pricing strategies for multi-market portfolios and implementing them with local teams.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to link pricing/portfolio decisions to revenue, margin and P&L.
• Advanced Excel modelling and working knowledge of Power BI.
• Strong leadership, facilitation and project management, with ability to influence across functions.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the EMEA pricing framework across markets.
• Use consumer, market and competitive insights to develop pricing recommendations.
• Define approaches to cost recovery and price increases for portfolio execution.
• Establish consistent competitive price benchmarking and communicate recommendations to stakeholders.
• Own the price-pack and portfolio architecture across brands, product tiers, pack sizes and channels.
• Assess portfolio performance to identify growth opportunities and gaps.
• Set pricing and portfolio principles for new product launches and portfolio changes in partnership with Brand & Category and Product Management.
• Partner with regional and country teams to translate strategic guidance into market execution.
