Job summary

Würth Elektronik eiSos GmbH & Co. KG in Manchester seeks a Product Definition Engineer (m/f/d) for UK, Ireland & Northern Europe. The role offers full-time (40 hours) or part-time (min. 36 hours) with international collaboration and field-based activities across the region.

You will visit partners, drive product integration into reference designs, deliver technical trainings, and contribute to market intelligence feeding into product development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Strong English communication skills and ability to present to technical audiences.
• Willingness to travel across the UK, Ireland and Northern Europe and to collaborate across countries.

Responsibilities

• Visit semiconductor partners regularly across the UK and Ireland and travel to Belgium, the Netherlands, and Scandinavia a few times per year.
• Drive integration of Würth Elektronik components into reference designs and evaluation boards with major semiconductor companies.
• Deliver technical training on WE products and support creation of technical materials (AppNotes, webinars, demos, online content).
• Gather product gap intelligence from partner interactions and feed findings into product development.
• Benchmark power supply boards using WE inductors and prepare structured reports; address EMC, stability or layout topics as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues in Germany and France and with global teams in USA and Asia.
