Job summary

KAYAK, a part of Booking Holdings, is seeking a People Operations Specialist in London to support the full lifecycle of employees across EMEA. You will work with HR Business Partners, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and People Systems to ensure accurate and compliant processes.

You will handle lifecycle events in Workday, support mobility and immigration needs, and help drive process improvements with AI/automation while maintaining audit-ready records.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in People Operations or HR Operations across multiple countries
• Familiarity with Workday or similar HRIS; willingness to learn reporting/configuration
• Knowledge of EMEA employment practices and compliance awareness
• Clear communication, written and verbal, across levels
• Organised, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks in a global team

Responsibilities

• Respond to employee and manager requests via ticketing; use SOPs and escalate complex matters
• Process lifecycle events in Workday: hires, onboarding, offboarding, role changes, checks, absences
• Support global mobility and immigration needs with partners
• Administer benefits, parental leave, and other leave; assist payroll readiness
• Monitor regulatory developments and update processes as needed
• Maintain audit-ready employee records in Workday and other systems
• Leverage AI/automation to improve efficiency and quality
• Assist with Workday configuration and standard reports; maintain docs
• Identify gaps and update SOPs and operational guidance
• Contribute to global People Operations projects with regional compliance input
• Collaborate with HRBPs, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and People Systems
