Job summary

STACK Infrastructure EMEA is seeking a Director of Legal for Projects & Transactions to lead legal support across the EMEA development and investment portfolio from early assessment through acquisition, development, construction, leasing and operation.

You will partner with Development, Construction, Power, Commercial and Finance teams to shape structure and negotiate key agreements, while guiding external counsel and managing risk across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• UK-qualified lawyer with post-qualification experience.
• Experience in data centres, infrastructure, real estate, or large-scale projects.
• Experience across multiple EMEA jurisdictions and coordinating external counsel.

Responsibilities

• Lead legal support across STACK's EMEA development and investment portfolio through all project stages: opportunity assessment, acquisition, development, construction, leasing and operation.
• Partner with Development, Construction, Power, Commercial and Finance teams early to shape structure, risk allocation and practical solutions.
• Draft, review and negotiate key project and transactional agreements (SPAs, professional services agreements, leases, PPAs, joint venture and development agreements).
• Shape STACK's EMEA contracting strategy with precedents, positions and guidance for consistency and efficiency.
• Instruct and manage external counsel across EMEA, ensuring timely, pragmatic, commercially focused advice and controlling scope and spend.
• Provide pragmatic advice on wider commercial, corporate and operational matters and elevate material risks to strengthen processes.
