Job summary

CSL Seqirus is seeking a Legal Counsel for EMEA to deliver expert legal support, lead standard form contracting for Europe (UK), Middle East and Africa, and partner with internal stakeholders to drive business objectives.

You will advise on commercial, Medical Affairs, Regulatory and Employment matters, collaborate with the Compliance Team, and support subsidiary management activities, with a hybrid work pattern (3 days in the office).

Qualifications

• Bachelor of laws degree or J.D or Masters or equivalent foreign degree.
• Admission to the bar in the UK or an EU country.
• 2–4 years' experience in a similar legal role, law firm or in‑house position.
• Fluent in English and another language preferably German, French, Spanish or Italian.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a cross functional, cross cultural and matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Legal lead support for preparing, negotiating and finalising standard form contracting for Europe (inc. UK), Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
• Primary regional interface between counsels and business stakeholders for contracting support.
• Support enterprise initiatives: template generation, harmonisation, process optimisation and contracting innovation.
