Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) seeks an experienced Qualified Accountant with 5–8 years PQE to join the EMEA Finance Team in London/Manchester. The role focuses on month-end close, statutory accounts, VAT, and intercompany reconciliations within a professional services environment.

You will collaborate with external advisors and auditors, ensuring accurate financial reporting across entities in the UK and EMEA, while maintaining strong internal controls and cross-functional partnerships.

Formación

• Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA desirable) with 5 to 8 years PQE.
• Proven experience preparing local GAAP/IFRS financial statements and consolidation.
• Experience in VAT preparation and submission (EMEA/UK).
• Robust technical accounting knowledge and controls.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel; SAP knowledge advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Month end close to global deadlines; posting journals and reconciliations.
• Prepare and review monthly management accounts and intercompany reconciliations.
• Lead VAT returns and support on VAT compliance.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax colleagues; maintain robust control environment.
