Job summary

Univar Solutions is seeking a Financial Accountant to join the European Finance Centre (EFC). This role reports to the European Financial Controller and will ensure timely period-end reporting, balance sheet integrity, journal processing, and support on ad hoc projects.

The successful candidate will be part qualified in CIMA/ACCA/ACA or qualified by experience, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate with FP&A, country finance, operations and HR.

Qualifications

• CIMA/ACCA/ACA part qualified, or qualified by experience.
• Experience with SAP is preferred but not essential.
• Well organised with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monthly financial accounting for the EFC EMEA entities.
• Detailed variance analysis on monthly financial reports.
• Preparation and approval of balance sheet reconciliations.
