Job summary

Univar Solutions is seeking a Financial Accountant to join the European Finance Centre (EFC). You will report to the European Financial Controller and manage period-end reporting, balance sheet integrity, journal entries, and support on ad hoc projects while mentoring junior staff.

Ideal candidates are CIMA/ACCA/ACA part qualified or equivalent, with SAP experience preferred and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A European language is advantageous but not required.

Qualifications

• CIMA/ACCA/ACA part qualified or equivalent.
• Experience with SAP preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and support other GL team members.

Responsibilities

• Monthly accounting for EFC EMEA entities.
• Perform detailed variance analysis on monthly reports.
• Prepare and approve balance sheet reconciliations.
