Job summary

STERIS is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead Ebeam/X‑ray engineering and maintenance across the EMEA region. You will steer the technical strategy, manage budgets and contracts, and develop a regional team of Engineering Managers to drive reliability improvements, safety, and continuous improvement.

The role requires a strong leadership background in multinational settings, a Masters degree or extensive experience, and a demonstrated ability to influence across functions and geographies.

Qualifications

• Masters degree or 10–15 years proven experience in engineering leadership.
• Proven ability to lead multicultural, multinational teams.
• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement in line with corporate practices.

Responsibilities

• Establish and drive engineering and maintenance strategy for Ebeam/X‑ray technology.
• Lead the regional Radiation Engineering Managers and allocate resources.
• Oversee budgets, contracts, and supplier relationships for engineering services.
• Collaborate with US and APAC teams to share best practices and drive improvements.
• Promote safety culture and ensure compliance with health, safety and quality requirements.
