Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an Associate in the EMEA Emerging Markets Credit team.

You will cover corporate and financial institution clients across the MENA region, performing credit analysis on a diverse client base and structuring and documenting a wide range of credit products. You will lead due diligence, financial modelling, and credit memos while coordinating with Debt Capital Markets, Acquisition and Leveraged Finance, M&A, Corporate Bank, Markets, Treasury Services, and Trade

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and credit skills/judgment across qualitative and quantitative aspects.
• Demonstrable product knowledge of lending, derivatives and treasury services documents.
• Established team player with project management skills and end-to-end ownership.
• Ability to identify key issues related to clients, industries, and transaction structures.
• Ability to establish credibility with clients and internal stakeholders; strong communication.
• Ability to foster relationships with origination teams and other internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as credit expert for a portfolio of clients in the region with primary credit exposure.
• Manage clients across corporates, financial institutions, and sovereign-related entities; monitor ratings and performance.
• Lead due diligence, credit analysis, and financial modelling; prepare memos and recommend structure.
• Work across loans, derivatives, trade and treasury products; lead structuring and documentation.
• Make sound credit recommendations and own the credit approval decision.
• Balance commercial and risk controls mindset; monitor market developments for portfolio.
• Build relationships with internal/external stakeholders and mentor junior team members.
• Meet clients and lead due diligence meetings.
