Job summary

ICE Clear Europe Limited is seeking a Director of Internal Audit to lead the EMEA audit mandate across multiple entities, ensuring risk-based planning, quality delivery and regulatory alignment. You will oversee CCP-related audits, coordinate with senior leaders, and drive governance improvements across the London function.

The role demands a seasoned assurance leader with strong communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills, capable of coordinating complex audits across cross-entity

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in Internal Audit within regulated financial services.
• Ability to lead risk-based audit planning across multiple portfolios and jurisdictions.
• Proven track record in stakeholder management and executive-level reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline; professional credentials welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Own the risk-based EMEA risk-based audit plan development, refresh and delivery oversight.
• Provide direct oversight of CCP-related and regulatory-sensitive audits.
• Lead portfolio delivery through Managers and senior audit staff with clear accountability.
• Prepare concise, evidence-based reports for board and committee audiences.
• Coach and develop senior auditors, managers and staff; drive succession planning.
• Champion analytics, data-led testing and improved audit methodologies.
