Job summary

ICE Clear Europe Limited’s Internal Audit team in London seeks a Manager, Internal Audit to lead risk-based audits across trading, clearing, benchmark, and related environments. The role involves planning, execution, reporting and stakeholder engagement to challenge governance and control effectiveness.

You will coordinate with global IT Audit, develop risk-based programmes, and supervise auditors while continuously improving audit practices and tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as Engineering, Sciences, Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business.
• Solid Internal Audit, assurance, risk or controls experience in a complex, regulated environment.
• Demonstrable experience leading audits or assurance reviews from planning through reporting and follow-up.
• Strong understanding of governance, operational risk, regulatory expectations and control frameworks.
• Ability to evaluate evidence critically, identify root causes and write concise, defensible audit conclusions.
• Effective stakeholder management, communication, organisation and time-management skills.
• Ability to supervise and coach colleagues assigned to engagements.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint and familiarity with audit management tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead audits end-to-end from planning to reporting and follow-up.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across business units and IT for integrated engagements.
• Draft concise, evidence-based reports linking condition, criteria, cause and action.
• Supervise auditors, provide feedback and develop the team.
• Develop reusable test programmes and continuous improvement of audit methodology and tools.
