Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) in London is seeking a Manager, Internal Audit to lead high-quality, risk-based audits across trading, clearing, benchmark and related operations. You will own engagements from planning through reporting, translating complex risks into actionable conclusions.

The role requires understanding of market infrastructure and enabling tech, with strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to supervise and coach auditors while delivering concise, evidence-based reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Sciences, Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business.
• Solid Internal Audit, assurance, risk or controls experience in a complex, regulated environment.
• Demonstrable experience leading audits or assurance reviews from planning through reporting and follow-up.
• Strong understanding of governance, operational risk, regulatory expectations and control frameworks.
• Ability to evaluate evidence critically, identify root causes and write concise, defensible audit conclusions.
• Effective stakeholder management, communication, organisation and time-management skills.
• Ability to supervise and coach colleagues assigned to engagements.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint and familiarity with audit management tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead audits end-to-end from planning to reporting and follow-up.
• Coordinate with Global IT Audit on integrated engagements.
• Develop risk-based audit programmes for themes like market surveillance, financial crime and regulatory compliance.
• Draft concise reports linking condition, criteria, cause and action.
• Guide audit closing meetings and communicate conclusions clearly.
