The Company
This organisation is a leading player in Chemicals and Ingredients for the FMCG market. They provide their products to various sectors from food to pharmaceutical to construction. As a global operation, they are established in over 75 countries, offering stability and career progression.
The Role
As the new EMEA Director of Innovation, you will play a leading role in the business's Coatings & Adhesives section. You can be based anywhere in Europe but expect frequent travel. Your duties will include:
• Develop and extend application development capacity across coatings & construction sectors
• Collaborate with suppliers on innovation and new formulation development
• Manage technical and project responsibilities, including CAPEX
• Provide technical solutions and application training to stakeholders and customers
• Participate in customer visits and deliver technical presentations
• Develop proof of concept prototypes
Your Skills & Experience
To succeed, you will need:
• Degree in Material Science or Chemistry
• Significant experience in coatings/construction laboratories
• Broad knowledge of CASE applications/markets
• Confidence in presenting technical and product information
• Excellent communication skills in English, with leadership and independent working abilities
