Job summary

Amazon Data Services UK Limited is seeking a Data Centre Senior Construction Manager to lead multi-discipline construction activities for new and upgrade projects across AWS data centres in the UK. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and contractor performance to ensure safe, resilient, and cost-effective delivery.

You will engage with general contractors, drive bid evaluations and change control, and coordinate commissioning efforts with engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Experience in construction of data center delivery or mission critical facilities (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction scope, timeline, and budget for data centre projects.
• Interface with general contractors during bidding, award, and closeout.
• Lead negotiations with contractors and manage bids.
• Review electrical and mechanical designs for new or upgraded data centres.
• Develop commissioning plan and support commissioning process.
