Job summary

Amazon Data Services UK Limited is seeking a Data Center Construction Manager to oversee construction activities for London data centre sites. You will manage scope, schedule and budgets while coordinating with general contractors and vendors to deliver high-quality turn-overs.

The role requires experience in data center delivery, commissioning, and construction management in mission-critical facilities. You will lead cost analyses, bid evaluations, and ensure compliance with design and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in enginnering or equivalent (note: spelling in source)
• Experience in vendor management and data center/critical environments
• Experience with construction project execution and RFI/submittal tracking
• Experience in data center delivery, commissioning, or industrial facilities

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction project management for data centre sites, including scope, timeline, and budget.
• Interface with general contractors during bidding, award, and closeout phases.
• Lead negotiations with contractors and evaluate bids/proposals.
• Create project scope and RFx documentation.
• Manage financials including change orders, POs, and invoicing.
• Support commissioning plan and construction quality control.
