Job summary

Abnormal AI is seeking a Senior Customer Trust Analyst to lead the customer-trust program across EMEA. As the first regional hire, you will translate customer security requirements into internal controls and ensure clear assurances for senior buyers.

You will design response strategies for high-stakes reviews, partner with Sales, Engineering, Security and Legal to unblock revenue, and stay ahead of regulatory changes such as the EU AI Act and GDPR.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in customer-facing security, trust, or compliance roles.
• Experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, ISO 42001 and security questionnaires.
• Translate customer security requirements into internal controls, evidence, and product/operational requirements.
• Strong project management across internal teams to drive resolution when expectations conflict with reality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to explain security/privacy to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience helping customers build trust with EU AI Act and GDPR.
• Experience engaging with German works councils.

Responsibilities

• Own and build the customer-trust program for EMEA as the first Customer Trust hire in the region.
• Contribute to defining how the trust response process scales as deal volume grows.
• Translate customer security requirements into internal controls, evidence, and product/operational requirements.
• Track and drive resolution of gaps between customer expectations and Abnormal's control environment.
• Partner with EMEA Engineering and Sales, Security and Legal to foster trust across the region.
• Monitor regulatory changes including EU AI Act and GDPR; adjust how control environment is presented.
• Maintain up-to-date content in Safebase Trust Center for EMEA.
• Support tooling underpinning the trust response process (Responsive and Safebase Trust Center).
• Engage in ad-hoc projects; maintain regular communication with internal stakeholders and Sales leadership.
• Communicate program status, health, and key risks to senior management and Sales leadership.
