Job summary

BBC Studios in London is seeking a commercially minded and data-literate Business Intelligence Manager to support EMEA sales through forecasting, pricing analysis and robust reporting.

You will own forecasting, manage the rate card across BBC products (including .com, Global News Channel, Podcasts and YouTube), and drive automation to improve outputs. This role collaborates with Sales, Data Solutions, Product and Senior Leadership to enable informed commercial decisions.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level in a STEM subject, or equivalent practical experience.
• Extensive work experience in a data analytics role with an exceptional track record.
• Experience in management reporting, automation and business forecasting.
• Demonstrable experience working on Excel.
• Experience with visualisation tools e.g. Tableau, PowerPoint.
• Proven experience defining and delivering project roadmaps; simplifying complex problems and translating business priorities into solutions.
• Proven ability to deliver across multiple concurrent initiatives amongst organisational complexity.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior leaders and building trusted cross-functional relationships.

Responsibilities

• Forecasting: Own the regular forecasting process for EMEA, with a clear narrative.
• Pricing: Own the rate card across BBC products and optimise pricing to maximise yield.
• Financial reporting: Deliver regular financial reporting and drive automation to improve outputs.
• Market analysis: Create market intelligence reports for Sales teams to inform strategic pitches.
• Dashboard creation/maintenance: Set up data pipelines and self-serve Tableau dashboards.
• Stakeholder management: Equip senior sales leads with timely information for decision making.
• Team collaboration: Work with teams in Singapore and New York to deliver global benefits.
