Job summary

Fortrea in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Benefits Manager to oversee UK benefits administration and contribute to regional projects across EMEA. You will manage pension operations (DC and DB governance), vendor relationships, annual enrolment, HRIS interfaces, and compliance.

Strong Excel and project-management skills are essential. This role requires collaboration with HR, Payroll, Finance, Legal and external consultants to deliver cost-effective programs with a positive employee

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of benefits management experience, including UK benefits administration and vendor management.
• Experience with UK pension administration, DC plans; DB administration exposure and governance.
• Experience managing a flexible benefits portal: enrolment, eligibility, payroll/HRIS interfaces, vendor issues.
• Working knowledge of UK benefits compliance and statutory obligations; familiarity with other EMEA countries.
• Experience supporting regional/global benefits projects: leaves, pensions, wellness, policy governance.
• Strong vendor/broker/consultant management: renewals, escalations, data requests across countries.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, presentation and stakeholder skills.
• Advanced Excel proficiency and analytical capability for cost tracking and reporting.
• Strong project management skills for multiple priorities in a matrixed global environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of benefits practices and regulatory requirements across UK and selected EMEA countries.
• Partner with HR, Payroll, Legal, Finance and external consultants to deliver compliant, employee‑focused benefits.
• Lead or support UK benefit plan renewals, vendor management and cost tracking across programs.
• Oversee enrolment activities, eligibility rules and HRIS/payroll interfaces for the flexible benefits portal.
• Support governance, audits and reporting for pension arrangements and other benefits programs.
