Job summary

GLG is seeking an entrepreneurial, energetic professional to join the Advisory & Placements team in London, within Global Financial Services. You will source Board Members and operating advisors for senior PE clients, working with private equity and portfolio companies across EMEA.

You will own project execution, coordinate internally, and contribute to growth strategies while managing 1–2 Associates. Strong communication with C-level executives is essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in a client-facing role.
• Understanding financial markets; PE experience is a plus.
• Executive communication skills (oral, written, presentation).
• Ability to liaise with cross-functional teams and drive priorities.
• Strong process orientation; manage competing priorities.
• Demonstrated judgement, intensity and ability in fast-paced environments.
• Passion for growth and business development.

Responsibilities

• Own project execution and delivery on client searches from inception to completion.
• Coordinate with internal partners to identify and execute opportunities.
• Engage in business development to broaden client base and relationships.
• Support product and go-to-market strategies for the Advisory & Placements business in EMEA.
• Directly manage 1–2 Associates on the team.
• Lead scaling of EMEA revenue with a sustainable business model.
