Job summary

Venture Search has partnered with a global placement agent to search for an Analyst or Associate to join their London team. The role supports GP-led secondary transactions from analysis to closing.

You will build financial models, analyse portfolio performance and prepare client materials while engaging in market analysis and deal execution. The position offers exposure to cross-asset deals, collaboration with senior bankers, and a path to advancement in a London-based investment team.

Qualifications

• Advanced valuation and modelling skills are required.
• Experience within M&A or secondary advisory.
• Knowledge of PE regulatory and legal frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of GP-led secondary transactions, from initial analysis through to closing.
• Build and maintain financial and valuation models.
• Analyse underlying portfolio companies and investment theses, including financial performance and KPIs.
• Prepare client and investor materials, including transaction presentations and due diligence responses.
• Conduct market and transaction analysis to support execution and business development.

Responsibilities:

• Support the execution of GP-led secondary transactions, including single-asset and multi-asset continuation vehicles, from initial analysis through to closing.
• Build and maintain financial and valuation models.
• Analyse underlying portfolio companies and investment theses, including financial performance, operating KPIs, capital structures, and valuation.
• Prepare client and investor materials, including transaction presentations, valuation analyses, process materials, and due diligence responses.
• Conduct market and transaction analysis to support execution, valuation, structuring, and business development activities across the GP-led secondary market.

Requirements:

• Experience within M&A or secondary advisory.
• Good knowledge of PE regulatory & legal frameworks.
• Advanced Valuation & modelling skills.
• Experience in marketing & content documentation.
