Job summary

Guggenheim Securities in London seeks a highly capable Associate to join its Financial Sponsors Group. You will work on originating and executing M&A mandates for European private equity clients, collaborating with senior bankers and clients on high-impact transactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Core modeling and valuation experience in a professional setting.
• Minimum of 3 years of investment banking or M&A experience.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and oral communication; ability to work with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and contribute to client presentations; interact with senior bankers, clients, lawyers and accountants.
• Develop and monitor complex financial models for corporate finance options and valuation analyses.
• Draft internal and client-facing documents including management presentations, lender presentations, fairness opinions, and pitchbooks.
• Perform client due diligence and prepare information memoranda and other transaction-related documents.
• Contribute to strategic frameworks, tools and IP to aid business development.
• Conduct sector/industry research and identify trends.
• Gather and analyze information, test hypotheses, and communicate recommendations to senior leadership.
