Job summary

Cambridge Aerospace is seeking an Electronics Test Engineer to plan, lead and execute environmental testing and qualification activities across defence and aerospace programmes. The role focuses on environmental, EMC, and EMI testing of complex electronic defence and aerospace systems.

You will plan and execute EMC/EMI test campaigns, support radiated and conducted emissions and susceptibility testing, and develop procedures, reports and compliance evidence.

Qualifications

• Experience in EMC/EMI testing of electronic systems.
• Understanding of EMC standards MIL-STD-461, DEF STAN 59-411, CISPR.
• Experience processing and analysing test data.
• Strong technical documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute EMC and EMI test campaigns.
• Support radiated and conducted emissions and susceptibility testing.
• Develop test procedures, reports, and compliance evidence.
