Job summary

Leonardo UK is seeking an EMC Engineer in Edinburgh to join our Radar and Advanced Targeting line. You will contribute to EMC modelling, analysis and testing across the full product lifecycle within a UKAS accredited EMC facility.

You will work on pre-compliance through formal qualification testing, aligning with MIL-STD-461, DO-160 and related defence standards. A hybrid working model and ongoing training are offered.

Qualifications

Solid technical foundation in EMC engineering.
Experience with EMC modelling, analysis and test.
Familiarity with MIL-STD-461, DO-160, DEF-STAN 59-411 or similar.
Ability to perform circuit analysis and interpret EMC data.

Responsibilities

Develop EMC modelling and analysis capability in a team.
Provide EMC input to projects with modelling and testing.
Contribute to EMC testing and reporting in a UKAS facility.
Assist with pre-compliance activities and product qualification EMC testing.
