Job summary

Element Materials Technology is seeking an EMC Test Engineer to support Military and Aerospace testing in our accredited EMC lab. This hands-on role works within a small team to deliver high‑quality test services on exciting defence programmes.

The successful candidate will perform EMC tests, set up configurations, document results, and contribute to troubleshooting. Ideal candidates have practical EMC testing experience and are looking to grow in a supportive technical environment, with

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or related Engineering discipline, or relevant industry experience in EMC testing.
• Practical EMC testing experience, ideally DEF STAN 59-411, MIL-STD-461 or DO-160.
• Strong attention to detail and good documentation skills.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Carry out EMC testing to Military and Aerospace standards.
• Assist in preparing test setups and ensuring configurations align with test plans.
• Record and document test data accurately.
• Contribute to troubleshooting and resolving test issues.
• Support development and maintenance of internal procedures and test setups.
