Job summary

Hnosi Space Solutions is seeking an automation-focused engineer to convert existing manual hardware validation tests into a formal, Python-driven framework. The role sits in Product Validation and involves developing tools and embedded interfaces for aerospace equipment.

You will work with PetaLinux, Linux kernel, MCUs, FPGAs, and high-speed JESD204 links, automate lab setups, support TVAC/EMC testing, and ensure traceability of tests using Jira/Xray.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to translate manual hardware tests into automated software.
• Strong programming in Python with hardware test automation experience.
• Experience with Linux-based embedded environments and hardware interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Translate manual hardware tests into robust Python scripts.
• Develop and maintain internal testing tools and environments using Linux/Python.
• Interface with PetaLinux, Linux kernel, MCUs and FPGAs for testing.
• Test high-speed JESD204 links for data converters.
• Set up lab hardware, bring-up, and troubleshoot during integration.
• Support TVAC and EMC environmental testing.
• Map automated tests to requirements using Jira and Xray.
