A technology recruitment agency is seeking a Firmware Test Automation Engineer to help build a new automation function for a hardware platform. Candidates should have strong experience in testing embedded systems, confident scripting skills (preferred Python), and be comfortable with Linux environments. Qualifications

• Strong experience testing firmware and embedded systems.
• Confident scripting in Python, with Bash or Go as a plus.
• Comfortable working close to Linux, hardware, logs, and networks.

Responsibilities

• Design and build a scalable firmware automation framework for embedded Linux.
• Automate core camera workflows including recording, storage, metadata.
• Validate video output and live streaming performance.
• Run stress, soak, performance, and resilience tests on real hardware.
• Build and maintain hardware-in-the-loop test rigs.
• Produce reliable test results and failure analysis.
