Job summary

Videojet Technologies, part of Veralto, is seeking an Embedded Software Development Engineer in Test. You will expand automated testing in a cross-functional Agile team in Nottingham, combining software and hardware expertise to improve product quality and release velocity.

The role emphasizes developing automated test solutions, collaborating with Software, Electronics and Mechanical engineers, and contributing to next-generation coding and marking equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/EE or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on testing of Embedded Software with automated test solutions.
• Experience in Embedded Software test environments and collaboration with SW engineers.
• Ability to develop structured test cases from requirements and execute validation strategies.
• Experience with embedded test tools and HIL environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated and manual test cases for embedded software in industrial coding equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality throughout development.
• Execute functional, regression, exploratory, integration and end-to-end testing.
• Create test coverage for new products and maintain regression suites.
• Investigate defects and drive resolution with development teams.
• Improve test automation to raise engineering productivity.
