Crane is seeking an experienced embedded software professional to develop C-based software for aerospace applications, adhering to DO-178C and DAL-A with AS9100 quality controls. The role involves requirements capture, design and documentation, and rigorous reviews to ensure robust, high-quality solutions.

• Proficient in embedded software development using C for bare-metal and low-level drivers.
• Experience in aerospace with DO-178B/C, AS9100 quality system, and DAL-A.
• Experience with DO-178C qualification activities and associated test methodologies.
• Optimised code for resource-constrained hardware with hard real-time requirements.
• Strong understanding of embedded hardware, microcontrollers, peripherals and interfaces.
• Experience using oscilloscopes and DVMs.
• Strong problem-solving and self-starting attitude.

Responsabilidades

• Develop embedded software in C, including low-level drivers, in accordance with DO-178C standards.
• Participate in requirements capture and review activities.
• Design and implement software to the quality standards required for the project.
• Create design documentation in line with applicable quality standards.
• Participate in code, requirements, and document reviews.
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities to deliver robust, high-quality solutions.
