Job summary

Inspired Recruitment is seeking an experienced real-time safety-critical software engineer for a Cheltenham-based role. The engineer will work on an embedded modular platform, writing bare-metal C and ensuring DO-178C Level A compliance across the development lifecycle.

The role entails deriving requirements, designing software, implementing safety-critical code, and conducting thorough testing and validation to deliver a high-reliability solution in a challenging aerospace-like environment.

Qualifications

• Experience developing bare-metal realtime embedded software in C.
• Knowledge of DO-178C Level A processes and documentation.
• Familiarity with certification requirements including MCDC testing.
• Experience with testing and verification of safety-critical software.

Responsibilities
