Ultra Intelligence & Communications (Cyber UK) is seeking an embedded software engineer to design, implement and test embedded and application software within complex programs. You will work with C/C++, Linux and RTOS environments, applying OO design and robust testing processes while maintaining high security standards.

Formación

• Degree in engineering, mathematical or science-based subject or equivalent experience.
• Experience in embedded product development (bare-metal and RTOS such as ThreadX/QNX/Linux).
• Experience in embedded Linux application, kernel or driver development.
• Proficiency in C and C++.
• Experience in object-oriented design and design patterns.
• Experience in software testing and design for test.
• Experience with version control, CI and automated testing tools.

Responsabilidades

• Implement software under project lead direction and maintain quality and security compliance.
• Develop and test embedded and/or application software within the project process to ensure high quality deliverables.
• Apply OO design techniques to enable re-use and integration with testing frameworks.
• Review system design artefacts to derive software requirements and architecture.
• Document and maintain software design using RSA/EA modelling tools for code generation as required.
• Contribute to best-practice development processes and tools, including TDD/CI, DevSecOps, and MISRA-compliant coding standards.
• Estimate time and effort for software activities and meet cost/schedule targets.
• Participate in Software Community of Practice to improve tools, processes and efficiency.
• Balance requirements, schedule and cost through active project collaboration.
