Job summary

Ultra Intelligence & Communications Cyber (UK) is seeking embedded development engineers to work on advanced cryptographic and RF/defense systems. You will contribute across the software stack, from device drivers to user interfaces, within a small, multidisciplinary team.

Developers will advance ideas from early research to full product development, leveraging C/C++, Rust, Python, and FPGA toolchains. Security clearance is required for roles in national defense programs.

Qualifications

• Degree in an engineering, mathematical or science-based subject or equivalent experience.
• Willing and able to obtain and maintain DV security clearance.
• Candidates must be British citizens resident in the UK for the specified period to meet clearance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software for complex customer problems within a small multi-disciplinary team.
• From research and ideation through prototyping, derisking, experimentation to full product development.
• Help build innovative solutions by applying electronic, mechanical and software technologies.
