Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer
Salary: £45-50k DOE
Location: Eastleigh
Here at Hitachi Rail, we have a unique opportunity for an experienced and skilled Embedded Software Engineer to join the team. This role is to work as part of a team to develop software for next generation products as part of Hitachi Rail Ltd.’s vehicle and track Condition Monitoring System. The role is to develop embedded C software for Wireless Sensor Nodes as well as high level language software for Wireless Monitoring Control Unit gateway products.
As an Embedded Software Engineer is required to ensure the team can deliver its crucial commitments. Excellent coding skills will be required. The role will be based at the Hitachi Rail office in Eastleigh moving to a hybrid office/home working environment upon completion of probation. Office attendance is required for design and planning meetings and configuration of physical hardware. Occasional work-related travel is also a requirement of the role.
