Job summary

Sibylline is seeking a Security Operator for an embedded, London-based role to support the client’s 24/7 security operations. You will assist with alarm monitoring, access control, CCTV operations, incident documentation, dispatch coordination, and customer support activities.

Ideal candidates will have 1–3 years of experience in security or related fields, a valid SIA CCTV licence, and the ability to work 5x8-hour shifts, including nights and weekends, onsite in London.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service, clear and effective communication with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to assess information, follow procedures and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Experience with security operations, access control, CCTV, or dispatch is preferred.
• Candidate must be comfortable in a fast-paced 24/7 environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and security technology platforms is preferred.
• A current SIA CCTV licence is required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely responses to alarms, incidents, and service requests.
• Monitor and manage access control, CCTV, alarm systems, and communications platforms.
• Create, modify, or deactivate badges and manage access for staff and contractors.
• Receive, document, categorize, escalate, and close security incidents.
• Dispatch security personnel, facilities staff, and emergency responders as needed.
• Support emergency communications and incident notifications.
• Respond to Jira tickets, calls, and emails from clients and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and audit trails.
• Participate in training, exercises, and continuous improvement initiatives.
