SoCode is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join a world-class engineering consultancy delivering innovative solutions across defence, medical, industrial, and communications sectors. Qualifications

• Embedded Linux development experience with Yocto and custom image builds.
• Strong knowledge of device trees, kernel-space and user-space.
• Interest in consultancy with varied challenges.
• Broader embedded expertise in RTOS, bare-metal, hardware interfacing, DSP, protocols, or state machines.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to projects from concept through delivery across sectors.
• Develop software for embedded Linux systems (Arm-based SoCs).
• Build and maintain custom Linux images using Yocto.
• Diagnose and resolve complex system-level issues.
