Job summary

Synapri is seeking an Embedded Linux Engineer to design, build and maintain embedded Linux platforms for its cutting-edge graphics and display solutions. You will manage system images, releases and security hardening while supporting production systems and CI/CD pipelines.

The role covers automation, DevOps practices, and collaboration across teams to deliver robust, scalable Linux-based infrastructure in global deployments.

Qualifications

• End-to-end Linux experience from design to deployment and support.
• Experience with embedded Linux environments.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure, networking and server environments.
• Experience with system security and hardening.
• Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines, ideally with Azure DevOps.
• Interest in automation and improving engineering processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems and share knowledge across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain embedded Linux platforms.
• Create and manage system images, releases, upgrades and patching.
• Implement security hardening across embedded Linux environments.
• Support reliability and availability of production systems.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD and build pipelines, using Azure DevOps.
• Support build and test server infrastructure, networking and related configuration.
• Automate processes and improve operational efficiency through monitoring and DevOps practices.
• Act as a technical escalation point for complex Linux and infrastructure issues.
